Worst decision I've made thus far. Bought my first car that was worth $3,950 put $1,000 down leaving me needing a loan for $2,950. I had a cosigned with very decent credit and these people hacked on double what they loaned me immediately. No way to pay off and avoid interest when paid in a timely matter. Here I am a year and a half later and I still owe $2,881. I've been paying $30 more than my car note since getting it. Nathan was rude as ever, went out of his way to tell me I could never finance through them again when I questioned if someone were approved there could they take on my car note (I had intentions of selling my car). Seems as if he got upset with that and got ridiculously rude. I never intended to finance with these people ever again anyway. STAY AWAY FROM MARINER FINANCE!! Go to some of the in house financing dealerships. There are plenty of them on the eastern shore.
Absolutely the rudest, least professional bunch of people I have ever dealt with. After I accepted a solicitation for a loan, every subsequent contact was one that left me feeling like I was somehow a substandard piece of trash. I am SOOO sorry that I ever borrowed money from them. This is why the Eastern Shore has a bad reputation; nasty people like these folks. One example: They called me during work on my cellphone when my payment was a few days late, and with two full hands, the phone slipped and I accidentally hung up. I was in the middle of redialing the number when the same woman called me back just so she could hang up on me. Within a week I had a letter from a collections agency because of the late payment, despite the fact that I had already paid online on the day of the call. Disgusting.
