Last year I highly recommended Cole's Seafood but not this year. I had the worst experience imaginable when I bought a bushel of number #1 crabs last week. First, none of the crabs would have been considered large, the majority were medium at best and some looked barely legal. Eight people were eating the bushel and every single person had to trash at least two to three crabs because they were bad - mushy, watery and distasteful. We got the bushel for a birthday party celebration but it was a complete disaster, everyone complained about the crabs and ultimately they gave up trying to eat them. A total waste of $160.00!!! NEVER GO TO COLE'S SEAFOOD, they'll ruin your day and maybe even make you physically sick! I called Bruce and complained but no action was taken. Apparently, he really doesn't care about customer satisfaction or his business's reputation. STAY AWAY FROM COLE'S, THEY'RE A RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had Bruce put together a bushel of No 1's for my Wifes Birthday party and these crabs were what No 1's used to be!!! Awesome size and packed. We really felt like we got our moneys worth. In addition, the crabs went so fast I had to order another bushel at the last second. A quick call to Bruce was all it took. My party goers were all fat and happy. Call Bruce....he will take care of you.
The food is made with care, never had a bad meal from there.
We have been getting our crabs from Coles for many many years. Started with them when they were located beside Sidetracks. We have always been very happy with our our purchase.
