This is the worst. Do not sign up with them. They never pick up on the schedule they give you. Some weeks they don't even pick up. If you try to call the office it will take days to get through and no one returns your calls. When I first signed up they were fine, then they merged with another company (pink trash cans so don't sign with them either) and was told to hang in there with them. That's been a couple of months ago. Our neighborhood has trash cans out all the time. One star is to much but couldn't post without picking a star!!!!
I have never seen a business like this in all my life , I am working on week 3 in my trash has not been picked up , they have came up with all kind excuses talking about the holiday they promised to come out certain days by certain time never did. You try to reach them,They keep giving you a voicemail , which says I will be back with you the next business day I've got this every single day I have called them at least 25 times and emailed them 4 times and no one still has not gotten back with me in 3 weeks. then when you talk to someone that act so concerned. you pay in advance , a now u got to email about getting my money back. they're giving me some running around , then he said the truck is broke down for a couple of days when there were two trucks less than 1 block from my house. They are not concerned at all I like the old company I've had problems with this company every since they took over. I was advised to go to the Better Business Bureau and this is where I'm headed with this if they're not concerned and I don't care neither do I. I have been speaking to someone named Darnell and he says he will take care of it . also Tracy Bates I've left her lots of messages as well
Ever since Eastern Shore Waste and Recycling ceased service and this company took over, my trash has only been picked up once on time. I currently have two weeks of trash sitting out in front of my house and have called multiple times about the issue. First, I'm told I'll get a call back and never did. The next few times, I either get transferred to a voice mail or can't reach anyone at all. Finally, I got ahold of a lady this morning at around 9am. She promised that someone would pick up my trash today and I told her I was canceling service if not. I got home and who would have guessed? My trash can is still full sitting out in front of my house. I called back and they said that they could even see where a request was sent to have it picked up today. I'm guessing it was ignored because they don't want to do any work on a Friday. She said that it is now too late in the day to send anyone out. I asked to speak to a manager about canceling my contract since they had breached it. The manager was very rude and made it evident that I was holding her up from leaving early to start her weekend. She told me that someone will be out to pick it up tomorrow morning however I'm not hopeful as she was very dismissive and they are closed tomorrow. Then I asked about the length of my contract and she says that she didn't know when it starts or ends and that I would have to call the previous company. I called that number to speak with someone and it is a direct line back to Bates Trucking. Seems like they don't want to fulfill their end of the contract but don't want to make it easy for me to cancel it either. Overall, piss poor service and not much better customer service. Haven't had my trash picked up for 3 of the last 4 weeks.
Absolutely the worst curb side service I have ever experienced with any waste service company in the past 20 years. Corporate never responds to problem inquiries and when it finally does the pickups and related schedules are still NOT adhered to. At the end of my current three month arrangement I will promptly be cancelling all future service with this very very unprofessional corporation. On a ranking scale of 1-5 with 5 being a top performance rating I give Bates a big fat ZERO. Beware of establishing any type of contractual arrangement with this company.
worst company i had the misfortune to deal with. please do your self a favor a steer clear. Never will they pick up the garbage on time. They will stop coming for 3 weeks at a time. No one in that company cares. The only excuse is that the truck is broken. I'm done with them
