Right on time on the appointed day, SIX trucks rolled down my driveway. Led by Leonard and David Webb, everyone started in on their respective tasks. The dismantling and removal of the old system went like clockwork while the setup for the new system was underway. There were challenges that required "Webby" to make a couple of shop runs while the work continued to keep things moving along. From the beginning, the talk was always to get the job done that day.
I have been very happy with the job Mat Quicke of C. Albert Mathews did on my house. He did what he said he would do promptly and professionally every time. He gave me good information about different options. The price when compared to other companies was also very reasonable. I recommend Mat and this company highly!
I contracted with C. Albert Matthews to replace my upstairs HVAC system with the Carrier GreenSpeed system. Mr. Leonard Patchett told me that he would try to get the system installed and running all in one day to minimize the disruption and accommodate my work schedule.
Eventually, it got down to the Inside 2-man team (air handler) and the Outside 2-man team (compressor) led by David Webb. These men worked diligently and with purpose to "get 'er done" and did so! I happen to overhear that overtime had been authorized so as to be able to complete all work that day and to a man, they all agreed to stay. Refrigerant line placement on the outside of my house was positioned as per my request and I was kept in the loop about all aspects of the job that required my input.
While the cleanup was taking place, the system was tested and explained to me. When the Team left that evening the system was purring away!
We recently built a custom contemporary home on the Eastern Shore with complicated high vaulted ceilings. Hiring C. It was obvious they had a well thought out plan as the result was a seamless installation with excellent attention to the details. As a fellow contractor I appreciate a job well done. C Albert Matthews installed a new 4 ton AC system and extended the existing ductwork to the lower level of my house. I selected C Albert because their estimate was very competitive, their representative was very knowledgeable and a problem-solver, and I believe their Carrier product offerings are superior to those of comparably priced competitors. The job of extending the existing central AC system was not easy, and required work to resolve a number of obstacles given the space limitations of the existing structure. I was impressed with C Albert’s representative’s willingness to work through all of the details, and the execution of the work was completed perfectly and just as promised. Both the representative and installer who I met were a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend C Albert Matthews for anyone with HVAC needs.
