We checked in and there was a spider web with a big spider in the corner. Then we noticed spiders on the bed. Called the desk and asked for another room. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and apologetic. Went into the second room...seemed better than the first one. More light and cleaner. Then we seen 3 big ass beetles. Scared the mess out of my daughter. Beds are comfy however next time I will pay extra and stay at a better hotel.
Place was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Had very good choices for a continental breakfast. Felt safe at location. All staff was pleasant. Bedroom was well stocked with all amenities. However, ceiling in room was peeling paint. Bathtub was slippery. In fact, I slipped getting out. Not safe, could have produced an injury. No shower cap.
Lovly Rooms and have been here 3 times before 5 stars too. this was summer last time i was there,, then i arrive 3 months later and get the crappiest room oh, nothing worked except the heater as soon as I walked in the door the Heat hit me like a freight train you couldn't stay in the room it was so hot I quickly tried to turn it down but I had a hard time with that also because it was on the air conditioner side but on hot ?? I don't know then refrigerator was out the phone was somewhat okay you had to play with it to get a dial tone so if I had to dial 911 I could have croaked, no coffee maker took me awhile to find the clicker to the TV, the keys to the room and I had to either one of them worked barely and did not feel like going to the office to get more so I stayed in the whole night, I was livid and the bed was the worst that I ever slept on oh, now all the other rooms before had different beds and mattresses and they were very very comfortable so sorry to say that was a one-star last month.....Nov2017
Me and my fiance walked into the room to find hair on ALL of the pillows and pulled back the sheets to find a spider like bug (possible bed bug) walking across the bed. When I spoke with the person behind the counter they just wanted to stick me into another room. We decided to travel down to the days inn and suites in Cambridge where we stayed twice before and had a great experience. The manager at Easton never apologized once but rather just shrugged it off. Take the 20 minutes and go to Cambridge!
I was extremely please with the room, it's not the Marriott so why the expectations of one. But for what I paid the room was immaculate, bed comfortable as well as the pillows. Bathroom very clean and trust me I'm a clean freak. I arrived on Friday, Nov 3rd to next day needed a room that would allow my dog as well.Which reminds me, you couldn't tell or smell that they allowed pets at all. Upon my arrival with a long drive and migraine, I was greeted by the front desk gentleman, who was absolutely friendly, courteous and a pleasure to talk to. If I went this way ever again i would stay again.
I still would go back if I needed an inexpensive place to stay. I know these things will be fixed with time.
