I took my significant other to Dr.Rosa Mateo because he was diagnosed with chronic lymes disease. She is not patient friendly at all. Even though we are married, she would not allow me back in the room with my husband as she did not recognize same sex partners. She literally just said "theres nothing we can do besides order you to be put on an antibiotic for 30 days." Within that thirty days we had so many questions and we were not able to reach her AT ALL, and after numerous attempts she never even returned our calls. Her office is only open on Thursdays, and she goes out of the country constantly without letting her patients know, as she did with us. She went to South America for a month and did not even tell us or give us advice on who to contact or what to do after the antibiotic, as it is a life long disease. It is clear that she does not care about her patients.
