My experience with Dr. Kamsheh was the worst of any doctor I have seen and I have seen many. He had his mind set on his diagnosis and would not listen to my concerns. His misdiagnosis cost me years of precious time that could have prevented some of my current damage. He was wrong and I ended up needing brain surgery for a rare condition we believe was caused by a rare genetic condition that he also failed to diagnose. He has a bad temperament, is dismissive and very rude. In my opinion I think he is dangerous if you have "anything outside his box."
Dr. Kamsheh was arrogant, rude, and completely unprofessional the two times I saw him. He reported information (weight, BP) but did not take my blood pressure (he tried but couldn't get the cuff to work so he just gave up) and I was never weighed nor asked how much I weigh. Although I told him that an EMG/NCS would not be a useful test due to a pre-existing condition, he said "who's the doctor? If you know better, what do you want me to do?" I agreed to the testing. When I came in the next week, he started the NCS and very quickly said that it wouldn't produce any useful data because he couldn't get the data needed to compare my arms. I reminded him that I had told him that the previous appointment. That was the end of the appointment. I eventually went back to the office to get the results of my office visit. His report stated that the NCS was not able to be completed due to the pre-existing condition. He then proceded to report that the tests showed nothing abnormal. The report then reported that the EMG was found to be entirely normal, and the individual results of the test were listed to substantiate this. However, he never did an EMG. When I found out that he had charged Medicare for both tests, I called to report him. I also contacted the patient advocate at Shore Medical Outpatient Services to report what I considered to be malpractice and fraud. Unfortunately I've since learned that others have had similar experiences.
