On a recent trip to the beach, we were all hungry and decided to check the Easton Diner out and support a local business rather than a fast food joint. We were sat and waited an absurd amount of time to even be greeted. While our waitress was very nice, service was lacking. During that time my son saw a bug and was trying to clean it up with a napkin (he had no idea it was a roach as he’s not familiar with them). The waitress cleaned it up and apologized. Needless to say my appetite was shot, which wasn’t a bad thing because the food looked as though it all came directly from a can. On a positive, the kids chicken tenders were decent and our other son enjoyed his raviloli. Yet none of the kids were offered their desserts that come with a kids meal. When we mentioned that at the register, it was brushed off. What should have been an hour long meal at a diner, was a two hour event that was grueling. That will be our first and last time at the Easton Diner.
Was looking for a local eatery while passing through. Stopped here and found a great chicken fried steak and a cold beer. Wife was similarly pleased with her corned beef and cabbage. On future trips to the beach, this will be a regular stop.
Beautiful, homey, comfy place. Good food great range, generous portions, courteous And efficient service. Convenient
Great service, friendly people. My boyfriend loved the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I had the garlic shrimp and broccoli over pasta. The shrimp was tasty, but the broccoli and pasta were bland. Small, but super fresh salad bar. I'd go again.
Crabs cakes were excellent. Meaty without too much breading or other fluff. Son had Hawaiian chicken which was also very tasty and was served in a hollowed out half of a pineapple. The menu generally is old school comfort food and includes meatloaf, pork chops, etc. This may become a regular stop!
